Perseverance is real. Perseverance sort of instills in you the humility that is required for you to grind your hours. Unfurling the mysteries of SEO

A brief discussion on SEO follows below:  1) RISE in SERP: Recently, there has been a rise in SERP and the results that Google is displaying has actually varied. Image results, web results, answers to questions ~ they are all there. Moreover, there has been a rise in instant answers. So, this is both a boon and a curse for blog owners.  It holds the potential to take traffic away from your site as well as creates the doorway to direct traffic towards your site. 2)Searcher Intent: The search engine Google's job is to provide results. It attempts to provide to the best of its ability the answer to whatever it is the user is searching for. This is where searcher intent comes in. Using advanced features such as machine learning, deep learning, it attempts to understand searcher intent which is to say, what exactly did the user have in mind when typing the keywords. This would not mean that keywords have lost its merits but rather it reinforces the idea...

Other tidbits.

Well, I have been studying Brian Dean,  Here's what he proposes..... Well, you know how websites sometimes break down. Or companies merge.  So like when that happens, this would result in the creation of broken links.  Basically the idea is to target webpages that have shut down, changed URLs, broken down or are no longer updated. As bloggers/business owners/digital webspace owners our idea is to target the big fish in our INDUSTRIES. What this man tells us is that we tell popular bloggers who link to these pages about these broken links and pitch our resource/blog as a suitable alternative.  Basically building connections. + helps form backlinks.  Furthermore he tells that Google keyword + broken links  would be the way you go about searching.  Personally, I feel this isn't a very effective SEO strategy.....  I do get to know the names of some softwares here though:  A-href....

Building relationships with leading industry experts: For a business to grow, it is of paramount importance to build working relationships with leading industry experts.  Someone who has already achieved what you are seeking to achieve.  In this article, I shall guide you through the steps to take to achieve your desired outcome. Personalized emails to your target person In the present era, business communication is mostly done via email. Each and every writer has a specific niche in which they are particularly good at. In other words, they have a thorough knack for doing what they do within the fences of their niche.  Suppose now that you wish to write for a beauty blog. Comprehensive articles on Google Adwords

Are you a business owner looking to grow your business with Google Adwords? Or perhaps a newbie seeking to learn more about Google Adwords? The affirmative nod suggests you want to know more about it. This is one article that explains the concept comprehensively. And I am presenting the article to you for FREE. https://neilpatel.com/what-is-google-adwords/

Acquaintance with Google trends

Apparently there is this thing called Google trends.  It's a brilliant piece of software which copywriters could theoretically apply to deliver engaging content for blog owners. Need to learn more about Google adwords.  Apparently, people from my country are ineligible to write on Medium simply because they don't own a Stripe account.  I wonder if it would be possible to convince some US/UK/Spanish citizen to setup a Stripe account for a writer and there would be a 80/20 split in the earnings. Haven't been able to do much today in all honesty.  Sort of went to see an old friend. My friend made my cheek bones hurt from laughter.

Scott young and the five steps to creativity

First, the gathering of raw materials—both the materials of your immediate problem and the materials which come from a constant enrichment of your store of general knowledge. Second, the working over of these materials in your mind. Third, the incubating stage, where you let something beside the conscious mind do the work of synthesis. Fourth, the actual birth of the Idea—the “Eureka! I have it!” stage. And fifth, the final shaping and development of the idea to practical usefulness. tbr: The Art of Thought by Graham Wallas science and method the art of scientific investigation

Scientific advertising review

This book was apparently considered the bible of copywriting. Well, here would be the lessons i have learnt from hither. First things first, The writer mentions that negative adverts are a big NO.  Secondly, he talks about samples. So, samples are to be given to public who show interest but the sample of the product/service that you provide is to be provided once certain criteria is met. 3rdly, the adverts you are writing, these should have the ability to receive feedback easily. Other lessons: Test campaigns in adverts Availability of info for the customer Catchy headlines. A guarantee that the advertiser is the one taking the risk. (basicallly a minimization of the risk undertaken by the buyer) Need to do more reading. Cheers. Stay grounded. Quazi

Blaire Warren and the seven addictions

Humans are creatures of habits. In fact, the fact that you are here at this point in time of your life is partly due to habits you have formed.  Habits are however malleable.  Anyways, this is basically what I have learnt today.  According to Blake Warren,  People have 7 covert addictions/inclinations: Hidden Addiction #1: People need to feel needed. (i would basically say this is ego stroking. from a psychological point of view) Hidden Addiction #2: When aware of an impasse, people will do anything to gain a sense of hope.(survival instinct?) Hidden Addiction #3: People need a scapegoat.(raitifcation. Ego preservation.) Hidden Addiction #4: People need to be noticed and feel understood. (Ego stroking again. Also, humans are actually social animals. Empathy is at the heart of what most humans seek in healthy doses from strangers, friends and families.) Hidden Addiction #5: People need to know things others don’t know/things they aren’t sup...

Lessons from Great Leads

Well, the author in this book talks about the importance of leads. first lesson was on: Focusing on one thing only in the copy. He teaches this important concept related to selling. That ranges from: Most aware, product aware, solution aware, problem aware, unaware. Most aware people are the easiest to sell to. They already know quite a bit about ur product. Product aware: They have heard about your product. But just aren't quite ready yet to burn the hard-earned cash. solution aware: knows about the results he wants but not the product/service which provides it. Problem aware: Knows about the wall that he/she is encountering. Unaware: pretty much oblivious of what is happening around.

Lessons from Kyle Milligan: day -3

Are you an aspiring copywriter too? Look no further.  The following post is going to give you pointer on how to write killer copy .  the first chief aspect of killer copy is the headline.  The headline must be eye-catching.  It must satisfy the four U s. They are unique                useful                urgent                 ultraspecific. The headline should essentially grab the reader by the eyeball.  And then we expand upon the headline. Upon expanding on our headlines, the idea is to establish credibility. I mean, if people dont believe the service/product that you are selling then it's entirely pointless. Lastly bribe them to read on and take action.  :)  Other lessons I learnt:  Adverts frequently make use of magic bullets.  They say tha...
